An experienced federal court litigator and counselor, Jackie Nakamura represented clients ranging from early stage to Fortune 500 companies on technologies including pharmaceuticals, biotech, medical devices, healthcare systems and e-commerce systems. She handled all aspects of federal court patent litigation and strategic counseling. Jackie Nakamura’s international legal experience includes supervising and coordinating trial and appellate counsel in multiple jurisdictions, including the United Kingdom, Netherlands, Germany, Japan and Australia. As a law firm partner, she led efforts to recruit, train and supervise large teams of attorneys and legal professionals.
In 2010, Jackie Nakamura served as a member of the Advisory Committee on Protective Orders to the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.
Since 2011, Jackie Nakamura has focused on providing mediation and litigation consulting services. She has handled a wide variety of matters, including antitrust, securities and consumer class actions, discovery disputes, breach of contract and attorney fees. As part of her pro bono work, Jackie Nakamura volunteers by conducting settlement conferences.
Jackie Nakamura supports the Japanese American Citizens’ League, San Jose Chapter, sponsoring a scholarship for college-bound high school seniors and the Asian Law Alliance in San Jose, California.
